As a result of the horrifying story, revealed by The NewYork Times, Google, the biggest search engine giant took steps in the direction to keep a check on the websites which use negative feedback as a tool to good business for them, and do not mind even abusing their customers to achieve this aim. The search engine has reportedly developed an algorithmic solution, which they do not wish to reveal, but assured their clients that it would definitely do the needful.

The New York Times had reported a story of Clarabelle Rodriguez, who while searching for an option for buying a new pair glasses, came across a high ranked website at Google, named DecorMyEyes.com, owned by Vitaly Borker. She placed her order for a selected pair of glasses, which turned out to be fake. When she complained about this to the site, in return she received threats and abusive responses. But all this did not stop her from moving ahead and fight it out till the end. In her process of research, she found out that there were many more victims like her who had complained about the site on various forums, not very popular ones though, mostly cheap hosting. Going deeper, she found a response from the owner thanking his customers for posting negative feedback for him and as a result giving him more and more business and a good Google ranking too. One more merchant explained the same formula that by treating your consumers badly, you can generate complaints and negative feedback at various sites, thus you get more links which results into high Google ranking and more business.

But the good news is that being bad will no longer be positive for the business at Google search engine, as the specially designed algorithmic solution, which is already live and keeping a check on the problem. Once you get into the black list, the only possible solution would be to change your webhosting. The officials of the Internet giant have not revealed the strategy details but they have assured people that being negative on the Internet will not lead to any good results. The culprit website DecorMyEyes.com, mentioned above, has already been blocked along with other sites and forums which are mainly used for complaints and expressing sentiments.
